Bought XXL one for my dog in the warmer months. She tends to look for a cool place to lay on the warmer days, whether that's the tile in the kitchen or the bathroom. Once she figured out this was a nice place to lay that is cool, she lays on it on occasion. I still think her favorite is just the plain tile, but the gel is a nice cushion and really does feel cool to the touch without any refrigeration.
